The work environment is very messy. The office is also the living room, and there is a heavy motorcycle being dismantled in a chaotic manner—it was taken apart by the boss’s son for fun! The boss brings his dog to work, so everyone has to help take care of it. Employees also have to take turns being on duty, watering the plants, taking out the trash, and so on. After work, the trash must be taken to the boss’s home, about 10 minutes away, to be disposed of. The boss’s wife smokes everywhere and is very emotional. Just hearing a single comment, having a bad day, or simply feeling upset for no reason can cause her to go into a rage and loudly swear in both Chinese and English! Workplace bullying is severe, so staff turnover is very high!
