The supervisor and colleagues are not difficult to get along with; at least there is no fighting or anything like that.
Because it is a small company, there is no HR department. An accountant handles payroll and benefits on a part-time basis, and when asked about benefits such as year-end bonuses, they give evasive answers.
When I tried to proactively ask detailed questions about salary, I was also harshly reprimanded in a very unpleasant tone.
Because I had not been employed in the position for a full year, I was asked to repay the expenses incurred for the employee trip. However, in previous cases, some people who resigned before completing a year were not asked to repay the costs. The fact is that the system is highly dependent on individual discretion, with no consistent rules to follow.
I have also seen the boss berate other employees as if they were dogs. The boss has a very condescending attitude and is not very respectful toward people. I really do not recommend this company to young people; it might be suitable for someone looking for a place to coast until retirement.
