Pros

1. The salary is considered high for southern Taiwan, with weekday overtime but no holiday overtime.

2. There is a NT$3,000 bonus for working more than 40 hours of overtime.

3. The night-shift allowance is NT$500 per day, and the missed-meal allowance is also NT$80 per meal.

4. With a 12-hour workday, you receive four hours of overtime pay.

Cons

This is one of the few companies in southern Taiwan with a circuit-board surface-mount process. If you want to learn related techniques or newer knowledge, I would recommend going somewhere else.

The extent of their knowledge comes from supervisors figuring things out on their own, so please don't expect them to teach you very accurate concepts. If you take questions to the experienced operators on the line, you'll only get ambiguous answers.

As for the coworkers, they're mostly from the older generation—uncles and aunties, so to speak. All I can say is, even at their age, they still form cliques every day. When they make mistakes themselves, it's apparently no big deal, but when someone else makes a mistake, be mentally prepared for nonstop sarcasm and mockery. They'll say you're blind or ask what's wrong with you. I have to ask: don't they make mistakes themselves? Are they never wrong? The most ridiculous part is that even for team leaders and supervisors, we're expected to ask them questions. But when you ask them why, they don't know either. Every day, all they know is what to buy after work and where to go for fun. Okay, sure—how wonderful. 👍

And when you go to work, do you think you'll have break time?

Let me tell you: you won't. Aside from the half-hour meal break, you don't get any extra time to rest. If you really want to come here, you should think it through carefully~

Oh, and if you're coming here to level up and fight monsters, I wouldn't recommend it either~
