Colleagues are easy to get along with
1. Salary (including labor and health insurance):
Remember to ask for your pay stub when you receive your salary. After all, the person in charge is very busy, so this is often done inconsistently. Oh, and if you transition from an internship to a full-time position, remember to check your labor and health insurance application to make sure it complies with the Labor Standards Act during the month you become a full-time employee. I heard they might accidentally forget to make the adjustment.
Also, salary adjustments are not made every year! Don't misunderstand the boss!
2. Promotions:
Don't think about it for now—it's a small company, after all :) There are plenty of people who have worked here for several years but are still titled assistants.
3. Working hours & overtime applications:
It depends on the department~ Usually, new hires receive joint training, followed by some assignments. The boss sincerely hopes you won't do them during working hours! After all, it's about learning, so you should improve yourself on your own!
Whether you can apply for overtime, you should first ask your supervisor what they think, because once you submit it, the boss will be very concerned ^^
4. Job content:
The boss hopes to establish systems and expand the business, so every department has to work hard for the systems and fill out all kinds of forms. Highly recommended for those of you who enjoy administrative chores.
5. Getting along with colleagues:
Most colleagues are easy to get along with :)
6. One last note: the boss will share everyone's hardships—oh no, I mean, make everyone share the boss's hardships.
In this great pandemic era, remember to negotiate for your salary and year-end bonus. Don't be afraid of being called in for a meeting!
To anyone currently working here or preparing to join the company, remember: You are great! Never doubt your abilities!
