The interviewing manager and head of HR are destined to become the ridiculous fate of this company. The manager was extremely rude, had clearly not read my résumé, was completely out of touch, and kept saying that you just need to humor the boss’s flights of fancy. After all, the company makes a lot of money and doesn’t mind losing a little on these minor expenses. They pretended to understand while stubbornly insisting that they were the only one who was right, were unfamiliar with the industry, and didn’t even know the terminology or professional jargon. The head of HR was even more incompetent: displaying a casual, unprofessional attitude and asking a bunch of irrelevant, gossipy questions about the position, while repeatedly questioning whether you could do it and whether you had passion, and warning that the boss had very high expectations. That was it—nothing else. They didn’t ask about the job duties or details at all, and simply brushed off the person who had come for the interview. At first, after seeing the experience shared on JobSky, I thought maybe there was a personal grudge, but—呵呵—it was simply outrageous! If you have professional skills, you can be treated better and more professionally at another company. Don’t degrade yourself by letting a group of self-important, arrogant people mistreat you.
