There were two iOS interviewers, both engineers.

One belonged to the department with the open position, while the other did not.

Most of the questions were asked by the engineer from the other department.

The process consisted of an introduction to my experience,

with questions raised and discussed along the way.

Development uses Rx.

The atmosphere was acceptable.

The difficulty was average.

The HR representative seemed to be in a great hurry.

The explanations were presented in a formal, scripted manner.

However, they did make a considerable effort to explain the rumors circulating online.

Their level of professionalism also seemed rather average.

1. The more interesting point is that iOS is divided into three teams,

but the teams do not know the scope of one another’s responsibilities.

Yet during the interview, someone was brought in to provide support.

2. The salary range was clearly inconsistent with what was stated in the JD.

For example, the stated range might be 100–200,

but after HR’s explanation, the offer could be at most around 120.

This is truly a waste of everyone’s time.

In addition, the newly raised funds will probably focus on overseas markets.

Everyone can assess the potential related costs for themselves.
