The company’s office décor is very luxurious, and its location in Songshan District is quite convenient. The first interview was conducted by the company’s HR representative, who asked some questions about my personal information but did not ask about or seem familiar with professional matters.
Before the interview, I was asked to fill out a personal information form. One item left a particularly deep impression: it asked whether I had a boyfriend or girlfriend and required me to fill in my partner’s “occupation.” I left it blank, but the HR representative asked again whether I had a boyfriend == That’s really overstepping.
After previously reading other people’s work experiences on the interview review site, I discovered that the company cares a lot about employees’ religion, because the company’s owner really likes going to temples to worship. Although I was not asked about religion during this interview (the personal information form did ask me to state my religion), I was asked whether I had a partner and my “partner’s occupation.” What does this have to do with my work abilities? The HR representative said that they pay some attention to these matters. I think a company that cares about this kind of thing is very strange and has poor internal controls.
I later asked about the company’s epidemic-prevention measures. The company had no staggered work arrangements or WFH at all, because they felt there were not many people. It seems the owner is the relatively fearless type.
In the future, the company will simply continue steadily selling wigs, without any other innovative ideas or prospects.
