The department that makes calculators is really terrible. The managers there are self-important and criticize employees in other units for being incompetent. Seriously, is there any product group in the entire company that is lower-level than the calculator division?

When the company doesn’t make money, it lays people off. Clearly, the mistakes are in high-level policies, but the ones who bear the responsibility are always lower-level employees. And everyone who gets let go will apparently be laid off once they arrive in the calculator department anyway.

Senior managers scheme against each other, so everyone has to choose a side. Those who lose the power struggle often disappear.

Only contract-manufactured products make money; everything else is self-developed.
