The HR lady has a pleasant voice.
The interviewer’s attitude was extremely bad. They asked a bunch of pointless questions to humiliate me, then exaggerated and bragged about how, despite graduating from a vocational high school, they could do everything. They were just acting arrogant because they entered the workforce a few years earlier and had some experience. I had only recently entered the workforce and had no experience—I was merely applying for an engineering assistant position. They kept boasting about how they could do and understood everything. If I already knew and could do everything, why would I come to your company to earn NT$27,000? If your company is unwilling to train newcomers, why recruit people?
To put it bluntly, if you expect every applicant to know and be able to do everything, how can you offer NT$27,000 for the position? Even dishwashers earn NT$28,000. You complain that hiring me would require retraining and teaching me from scratch, and criticize me over all sorts of things. The salary you offer determines the kind of candidates you can recruit, okay? It’s not as if you were offering NT$37,000 or NT$47,000—you offer NT$27,000, label the position as “no experience welcome,” and then humiliate people during the interview.
At NT$27,000, you still expect to hire someone who knows and can do everything. You should just keep doing the work yourself instead of ruining newcomers’ confidence. Otherwise, raise the salary to at least NT$37,000 before hiring. If you can’t afford to hire people, then don’t. Even if you do recruit, don’t humiliate applicants during interviews—it’s really disgraceful. Do you actually think your company is the only one that gets to choose candidates?
