There are two rounds of interviews. Employees are assigned to interview candidates first, and even very inexperienced employees may be assigned to conduct interviews. In the first round, there is a high chance they will ask about zodiac signs and whether you are Hakka—questions completely unrelated to the job application. As long as you come across as humble and polite, it is relatively easy to advance to the second round.
The second round may also be with a supervisor, and the owner will conduct the final round.
In the final interview, the owner will start talking at length about his company philosophy and, in the process, ask about the candidate’s career aspirations. He will say that he does not hope to make the company bigger, but hopes to provide an entrepreneurial platform (= =?), giving employees the opportunity to develop their own businesses.
