1. A very frightening company. Newcomers are inevitably placed under the surveillance of the owner’s wife for a year. The company is full of spies, and every move is monitored.

2. Agreed-upon bonuses are repeatedly changed. The boss is afraid that employees might receive too much bonus pay. The husband and wife own several luxury cars, yet they haggle over every penny with employees! The company is registered offshore, while the Taiwan company is nominally held by an old retainer who is a lapdog. If anything happens, the boss does not have to take responsibility; the lapdog only wags its tail and understands nothing!

3. The company loves meetings and ceremony. Despite being a small company, it creates a huge pile of reports and forms, annual meetings, and budget meetings—enough to drive people crazy. The boss is merely a second-generation successor who drove all his siblings away, insists on personally handling everything, and even inspects employees’ desks after work to see whether they have been cleaned. The boss’s wife is a weirdo who is always coming up with bizarre ideas, causing company policies to change constantly.

4. The company blatantly disregards the Labor Standards Act. The boss likes to message managers or employees late at night and on holidays, pressuring them to respond. The entire company has no culture or passion; the sales team works hard because of the bonuses. Everyone capable has left, and those who wanted to learn have also been scared away. Under no circumstances should you risk your heart and liver here.
