Received an interview invitation, but no response from HR! I still had to call to ask about the time, and afterward I even had to ask for the interview email myself?

What exactly is HR doing! In the end, the interview also felt like it was just being handled perfunctorily! If they didn’t need someone from the beginning, or had already hired someone, why not just say so clearly? Why put on this fake show! What a waste of people’s time!
