Applied for an accounting position on a job website the day before, and they called the next day to notify me of an interview. After setting a time, I waited at their company for nearly 30 minutes, only for the boss to ask directly, “Are you here to apply for the driver position?” I said I was there to apply for the accounting position, and the boss then said they weren’t hiring for accounting anymore.
This is so damn frustrating. My time isn’t worthless. If they weren’t hiring, why the hell did they call me? I originally thought I’d go and see what it was like, but if I’d known, I would’ve just trusted the other reviews and not gone at all.
