You need to have thick skin and be bold enough to say things. You can earn a high salary with very low ability (to the extent that a certain consultant does not feel threatened).
Suggestion: If the salary you negotiate (excluding bonuses) is high enough, you can go there to practice your skills.
The future looks bleak.
The boss has great faith in a problematic HR consultant who left a job in China (with questionable credentials; his speech and views make it impossible that he could work in HR at a large Taiwanese company; the only people whose expertise he can match are those with less professional knowledge than himself or people who are simply easy to deceive). Most of the people he brings in are senior executives with poor abilities but overly senior credentials, or vendors who come to swindle money, yet the boss completely buys into them (which is why people call him the “wholesaler”).
Examples include: an administrative manager whose sole duties are changing light bulbs and berating vendors; a marketing manager whose job is changing punctuation and making minor adjustments to a few nonessential words; a website consultant whose output is a website whose content cannot be freely edited; a customer service manager who gets drunk, skips work, and argues with team members; an HR manager who harasses interviewees and verbally abuses employees; and an IT manager who spends several weeks writing a program that cannot run… In an ordinary company, having even one of these people would create complete chaos, so employees who can continue working there with such colleagues must have exceptionally strong psychological resilience.
