There are always two months’ year-end bonus, which is considered excellent for the area around Gangshan.
Except for certain on-site positions that require overtime and shift work, everyone can leave work on time.
The current rush to meet production deadlines is highly stressful, and the turnover rate among new employees is extremely high.
The salary calculation is strange: one-tenth of the monthly salary you agreed on with them is treated as a quarterly performance bonus (used to deduct money from you), and it is paid only once every three months. In other words, if you resign before the month in which the quarterly performance bonus is paid, you will not receive this money.
The factory buildings are old, and there does not appear to be any plan to relocate the plant.
The company does not offer a perfect-attendance bonus, but taking even one day of leave will result in deductions from three sources: one day’s basic salary, one day’s quarterly bonus, and one day’s year-end bonus. Anyone who takes leave is a fool.
However, if you take annual leave, you will not be questioned or hassled, and the company does not want employees to exchange their leave for cash—you must use it all.
The area around the plant is very prone to flooding during the rainy season.
