The response after submitting my résumé through 104 was very quick, which showed the company’s sincerity. The interview process was relaxed and pleasant, with no particularly difficult questions. They also quickly provided a clear offer and start date afterward. The work environment is free and relaxed: we wear indoor slippers at work, and there are few restrictions on clothing.

I’m happy going to work every day—happier than I was at university. I haven’t encountered office politics or factional conflicts, meaningless and lengthy meetings, or a supervisor constantly looking over my shoulder. My manager fully respects my opinions and autonomy, and there is plenty of room during working hours to apply my knowledge and think independently. I can clearly feel my personal growth and progress at work. My manager’s various requests and suggestions are all reasonable. Since joining, I haven’t had to work overtime, and no one has forced me to do so. Most of my colleagues are quite young, and they are friendly and willing to help one another.

However, most colleagues in the office seem to work quite hard and under considerable pressure. Many people stay busy all day and work overtime until late at night; ordering dinner and continuing to work overtime seems to be the norm for many. There may be considerable differences depending on the position and department, as quite a few colleagues in this department have stayed for over a year.
