Pros

Apart from the office being very large, there’s nothing. They say drinks are available without limit, but once they’re taken, they don’t restock them—and they aren’t even available every day. Employees all order drinks for delivery. They also say coffee is available without limit, but the coffee machine is so difficult to use that only a handful of people in the entire company know how to operate it, so there’s no way to drink as much as you want~

Cons

Anyone who is good at acting cute, pretending to be innocent, pretending not to know how to do anything, and acting like a princess who needs to ask others for help with everything is welcome to work here~ Because whatever you want, the company will give you—even if you applied for the wrong position and want to compete with someone else for their job, the company will agree to that too ^_^

A coworker originally applied for a customer service position, but after two days of training said she didn’t like customer service and asked whether there was an administrative position she could do. Even though there was no one at the front desk (the person who originally worked at the front desk said she wanted to learn customer service, but still stayed at the front desk), they insisted that a new person had been found for the front desk and that the administrative team only needed one person (even though I had already joined and started working). That afternoon, they said the two of us would compete next Friday to see who they thought was more efficient and whom they needed more; the other person would have to find her own way out. The little princess, who had previously been learning customer service and not administration, was afraid of being eliminated, so she very cleverly said, “Then what should I do if you choose her?” As a result, that sentence worked immediately ^_^ Not long afterward, the team leader told me they had reviewed both of our résumés and found that I typed extremely fast—one of the fastest in the customer service department—so the general manager wanted to transfer me, who had originally been doing administrative work, to try text-based customer service, because administrative work doesn’t require fast typing ^_^? Hello? I originally applied for an administrative position in the customer service department, okay? The acceptance notice also said “administrative position in the customer service department,” okay ^_^? And the way it was said made it clear that I had to agree, otherwise I would have to resign ^_^ I said that during my HR interview, they had asked whether I preferred clerical work or customer service, and I had answered very clearly: clerical work. That was why I came for this position. The team leader actually replied that HR had made a mistake, and that because I had interviewed earlier, they had simply let me choose first ^_^? I don’t believe that nonsense. How could HR, while interviewing candidates, fail to ask another person applying for the same position? ^_^? The only explanation is that the little princess said she could do customer service, so she ended up in customer service after being hired and reporting for work, right ^_^? Besides, if it was HR’s mistake, what does that have to do with a newly hired employee who had already reported for work? And she could work for two days, say she didn’t like it, and then switch positions? Seriously impressive. It was clearly not you who applied for the wrong position and demanded a transfer, but if we didn’t agree, I was the one who had to resign. This was the first time since entering the workforce that I had seen someone dislike the position she originally applied for, compete with someone else for it, and have the company agree to it. Maybe that little princess is related to them somehow ^_^

Also, what someone downstairs said about them secretly looking at Skype conversations is true! But they don’t blatantly look at them from your seat. There are surveillance systems monitoring every computer to see whether you’re chatting with someone. I happened to mention their beloved little princess to a coworker who was going to resign the next day. The next day, they directly handed me a termination notice. At first, they even made up the excuse that my learning progress couldn’t keep up with everyone else in the customer service department? Come on~ I had only been learning for three days, and they expected me to immediately catch up with coworkers who had been doing this for anywhere from over a year to eight years. That logic is truly outstanding. But anyone could tell that this was just a fabricated excuse. They called me in for three minutes, and for two and a half of those minutes they talked about how a coworker had revealed that I had said bad things about the little princess, and that it had reached HR, so the customer service department and HR both knew about it. They said they thought I didn’t fit in and wasn’t suitable for the company culture, and even said that I would disrupt the sense of unity in the customer service department ^_^? I didn’t know the power of one tiny shrimp like me was so strong~ And it felt like they were probably afraid of being reported too. When they called me in to talk, they started recording audio and video before saying anything. What kind of company has to guard against its employees to this extent? They probably keep firing people, which is why even employees who joined in 2021 can be called “senior” employees ^_^

I suddenly remembered that the customer service training instructor said during class that this was a company with a very American-style culture. That’s genuinely hilarious. Has anyone ever seen American-style management that involves monitoring other people’s computers? And the general manager’s office is transparent too, specifically so they can monitor what every employee is doing without even coming downstairs!

As for what someone downstairs said about having to clean up ourselves: that’s no longer necessary! There is already a cleaning lady. Maybe they saw this review and were afraid they wouldn’t be able to recruit anyone, so they hurriedly hired someone to make people think the person who exposed this information was lying?
