I don't know of any particular advantages.
I observed this company for a while. It keeps long-standing job postings open under different job titles, with salaries higher than the general market rate, so I'm not sure whether they genuinely have someone in mind. Once you submit your résumé, HR asks you to conduct a market analysis of the company and give a presentation on the same day. Many of the interview questions are also about the company's future direction. I noticed the interviewers and HR taking notes diligently, which made me feel that they only wanted to extract my ideas and were not genuinely looking to hire someone.
