Pros

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, and you could ask her questions.

Cons

The hiring manager did not even seem to know what they were looking for. I provided all the information requested in the job description and practiced the skills required for the position, yet was still asked, “What can you actually do?” They also did not clearly indicate what type of information they wanted. When I asked what aspects needed further explanation, the interviewer could not give a clear answer.

At the same time, they repeatedly questioned my previous salary and job responsibilities, focusing only on aspects they thought they could criticize. I explained the work I had performed at my previous company and said I would carry out tasks according to the manager’s requirements. I then realized that what they actually wanted was probably a salesperson, which differed from the job description. It felt as though the interview was mainly an attempt to gather information about related industries from my previous experience for use in developing their own market.

They also glossed over the job responsibilities and seemed interested only in projecting an attitude that they had very high standards. After this interview, I immediately realized that the company has a very traditional, hierarchical corporate culture. After looking it up online, I found that it was indeed as deeply rooted in office politics as I had imagined. It seems to be a company with lofty ambitions but inadequate capabilities. Even if I receive a notification, I would not want to go there again.
