Basic gift-money benefits (the two major holidays and birthday, but not much)
Does saying “Happy Birthday” in the group chat on your birthday count?
(It would be more practical to give more birthday gift money; 600 is a bit little.)
Other than the basic labor and health insurance, don’t expect anything extra (e.g., group insurance or wedding/funeral and other celebratory subsidies).
There is no overtime pay, no overtime pay, no overtime pay.
They make it sound nice by saying they don’t want employees to work overtime, but it is a responsibility-based system.
The sales staff turnover rate is very high, and they are constantly hiring. They think they provide a lot of subsidies, but the NT$5,000 monthly fuel allowance has to be reviewed item by item, and you also have to refuel at intervals on the dates specified in the regulations; otherwise, it won’t be reimbursed.
For sales staff from outside the area, no subsidies are provided during the training period (if you travel to Taipei for classes every day, you have to cover all accommodation and transportation costs yourself).
I don’t recommend the department that handles the money. The supervisor is the boss’s wife, the environment there is extremely difficult, and the turnover rate is not low either. Before joining, you need to be mentally prepared for all kinds of situations.
Apart from the situations mentioned above, the other departments are okay—as long as you don’t mind having no overtime pay.
They like obedient people. Don’t be the kind of child who makes a fuss; the company gives treats only to those who don’t ask for what it hasn’t provided.
