Work environment: The building looks very nice. Since they have just moved in, the facilities still feel a bit sparse.
The interviewer seemed easy to get along with.
Interview questions
Q: Self-introduction, content of the previous job, experience, reasons, personal strengths and weaknesses, and whether I had the skills required for the job (certifications).
A: Answered honestly.
Interview process
I saw the job posting on 104. The work location and interview location were different, and only later did I find out that I would be working at the interview location in the future.
The salary was also the default listed on 104. There was no way the starting salary would be the NT$40,000-plus shown initially. After the interview, I checked 104 again, and it had finally been updated.
The number of openings listed on 104—only one person—was also inaccurate. I suggest that everyone give it a try and apply.
Conversation at the time: The HR staff member was in a meeting; it seemed that the customer service representative would conduct the interview, and the customer service department supervisor would speak with me afterward.
Job benefits and conditions: Monthly salary of NT$30,000 or more, determined based on experience.
Total time spent: 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Interview suggestions
I had the same feeling as the other interviewee: it felt like the information on 104 had deceived us, LOL. However, the starting salary was also quite reasonable.
Since this service operates 24 hours a day, the job will require night shifts, rotating shifts, and working six or seven days a week. Overall, it was neither good nor bad. I just feel that this type of interview could be completed more quickly; it might be more convenient to ask whether it could be changed to a video interview.
I suggest everyone dress slightly formally: men—white shirt and long trousers; women—bright-colored, slightly formal clothing. Otherwise, you’ll be shocked by the people on the first floor, LOL, because they were all very formal and well-presented.
There is also a second round. If a second interview is required, you have to wait seven days for notification.
