Pros

Let me talk about what I’ve learned over the past three-plus years: this company is just too excellent.

1. I learned that when I see a company supervisor, I have to greet them loudly; speaking too softly won’t do.

2. I learned to observe the weather: whether it’s cloudy or rainy, I have to report it to my supervisor.

3. Every month and every day, all arrivals must be counted immediately and reported to the senior supervisor immediately.

4. Every day, I have to learn to listen to or observe my supervisor’s tone and facial expressions and know how to respond.

5. I learned how to clean the supervisor’s car: the underside of the hood (there must be no water marks), the engine compartment (there must be no dust), the rims (there must be no water marks), and the wheel wells (there must be no dirt).

6. I learned that everything, big or small, must be reported; otherwise, it’s zero points.

7. I learned how to be scolded, lectured, and have money deducted from my pay.

8. I learned to choose the right side to stand on and to keep my eyes open.

9. I learned that when another department asks for help, I must not agree immediately; we have to discuss it in a meeting first.

10. I learned the SOP for driving a car carrying an oil drum to a gas station to refuel.

11. I learned how to clean the supervisor’s home: quickly, ruthlessly, and accurately—in other words, it has to be cleaned thoroughly.

12. I learned how to drive the supervisor anywhere, such as a hospital, convenience store, gas station, or home. I must shift gears smoothly, not drive too fast, and not change lanes arbitrarily. I suddenly realized that I am a safe driver.

13. I learned not to get angry when submitted materials are torn up because of errors; I have to develop patience.

14. I learned to compare ranks: the higher-ranking official has the final say.

15. I learned to search diligently online for the items the supervisor wants and complete the task.

16. I learned that bird droppings on the ground must be scrubbed away, and bird droppings on the car must be wiped off.

17. I have to learn to call myself an idiot, stupid, and utterly incompetent, because I need to have an attitude of self-reflection.

18. I learned that my hair must be properly cut, my clothes must not be faded, and my buttons must be fastened, because a person’s appearance represents the public image of a company.

19. I learned that being capable is not what matters; knowing how to obey is the key—in other words, I have to submit.

20. I learned that once you know how to put your dignity aside, you have succeeded.

Cons

How could such a wonderful company have any shortcomings?
