High brand awareness means you don't have to worry about having no customers to buy. Although interactions among colleagues can be quite fake, they are still relatively harmonious and united.
I clearly remember that my reported annual income over the past two years was only around NT$300,000 to just over NT$400,000. The performance targets were frighteningly high (during anniversary sales, one counter could be expected to generate tens of millions). If you didn't meet the target, you would only receive the basic salary plus position allowance, with labor and health insurance deductions leaving you with less than NT$30,000. (That was the actual take-home pay even after working the required hours and sometimes having to help set up or dismantle the counter after work without pay 🤣.) Colleagues came and went quite quickly; of the colleagues who worked in the same area back then, only a handful remain.
