After spending 44 minutes giving an extensive explanation of the job duties, they asked whether you would be interested in choosing another salary package.

After making your choice, it was the department manager's turn. Not only did they ask a very stupid question and challenge the interviewee's past qualifications and education (which could have been verified through a background check), they also directly contradicted HR's earlier "robotic" explanation of the job duties and salary, as well as the job description and salary stated in black and white on 104… It was as if you had applied for a completely different job. There is absolutely no possibility that you simply misread it. This shows that everything right in front of you… is a pile of …?

I strongly urge you not to interview, much less choose to join, any company that seems to change its policies from one day to the next.

(Overall, it wasn't merely bad—it was extremely bad.)
