The HR staff were friendly and professional.
Position applied for: Customer Service Center Assistant Specialist
104’s listing stated that the working hours were daytime, but shift work is required *including holiday shifts.
This was extremely unclear and misleading, as it suggested that only holiday shifts were required.
It was only during the interview that the supervisor said the position required both morning and evening shifts.
The supervisor also mentioned that employees could not easily take leave
unless they were truly feeling extremely unwell.
Why, before I have even joined the company, was I already being treated as though I would frequently take leave?
Basically, I am a responsible employee and almost never take leave,
but the supervisor’s attitude made me feel sad for Taiwan’s workers.
Isn’t taking leave a right that workers should have?
The supervisor also asked some personal questions (whether I had a boyfriend, whether I planned to get married.....)
Perhaps they were afraid that after hiring me, I would immediately request marriage leave or parental leave.
Thank you for this interview experience; I have once again gotten to know a company. :)
