They left the interviewee waiting for a long time, and in the end, the interviewer was still busy, so someone who seemed to be the general manager conducted the interview instead. As soon as he arrived, he criticized me, saying that my experience did not really match what they were looking for, and then talked at length about his own achievements. In addition, although the compensation for the position I applied for was listed as negotiable, he said that without experience, it was impossible to offer such a high salary. He repeatedly emphasized that their tour guides’ starting salary was in the low NT$20,000s (I think it was around NT$26,000, but I’m not entirely sure of the figure), which left me with a very bad impression. In the end, I never heard back from them.
