Good environment; Taiwanese colleagues are friendly.
The boss likes to call people into meetings, where he often boasts about himself and scolds subordinates, believing that everyone is incapable of making shoes. If he is willing to scold you, it means he still cares about you, but the meeting content is often unrelated to shoemaking, making it a waste of time.
The supervisor is a relative of the boss and has also been more or less brainwashed. They often tell people to take the initiative to ask whenever they do not understand something, and to keep asking until no one else can stump them. Even when something is clearly supposed to be handled by colleagues in mainland China, you are expected to learn it so that others cannot stump you, and it eventually becomes your responsibility.
In addition, the supervisor comes from a sales background. They are very articulate and good at painting a rosy picture during interviews, but have little decision-making authority under the boss's control and often have to follow the boss's orders.
All in all, this is a company that requires serious consideration.
