Pros

The colleagues are mostly quite good; the problems lie with the company and upper management.

There are small snacks each month to celebrate employees whose birthdays are that month.

Cons

Before starting the job, they initially say that because you have no relevant experience, even full-time employees are paid hourly. For part-time workers, it is even worse: they are not covered by labor or health insurance, and they do not clearly explain how many months it will take to switch to a monthly salary. Even after switching to a monthly salary, the pay is initially almost always around the minimum wage and will not exceed 30,000.

Treat the position listed in the interview as a reference only. After the interview, they will assign you to a position based on your circumstances. At the time, I was assigned to the video team to handle filming. I had to come up with video scripts and film them, and was required to submit at least one video every day. There were no professional photographers or lighting technicians on the team, and no one was assigned to train you, so you had to figure things out yourself or ask others if you wanted to learn more quickly.

Because most of the department supervisors eventually left, I communicated directly with the boss about video scripts. However, there was no clear product marketing positioning, and the boss's requirements kept changing. The video scripts provided by the boss were also usually taken directly from highly viewed videos by other cosmetics companies as “references” (copying). When videos did not generate sales, the photographer or editor would be blamed. They almost never reviewed the company's own marketing methods or the products themselves; whenever there was a problem, it was someone else's fault—never the company's or its products'.

There was a weekly schedule for which products were to be filmed, but it was very common for the schedule to change at the last minute because other products needed to be filmed, or because the boss suddenly wanted to film something and assigned it to you. The boss also loved holding long, pointless meetings or review sessions, which often resulted in working late. Although the company does pay overtime, the boss would make snide comments when you submitted an application, or ask, “If the video you produce by working overtime today is not the best video and does not get a high click-through rate, should we still pay you overtime?”

In short, there are truly too many shortcomings to count. I have tried my best to write this review objectively. You can also find many reviews online, whether about problems with the company itself or with its products. “I sincerely advise you to apply for a job here only if you genuinely like this company's products.” This was my first job, and before joining, I had never heard of the company or its products, nor had I looked up any relevant information. However, because it was my first job and I needed to gain work experience, I gritted my teeth and endured it. Usually, after working there for a month, you will not feel quite as overwhelmed. But honestly, this work experience did not help me much later on. Before joining this company, it is still better to clarify the job responsibilities first. (Although they may change later as well.)
