Cons

When it comes to being exhausted,

I absolutely have to come and complain about this company.

(I picked a company that looks clean and beautiful, but is actually quite good at taking advantage of its employees 😈)

It being a family business is one thing.

But whenever things get busy, the family members have terrible emotional intelligence 😤

What does the finished product look like?

The manufacturing process?

The professional terminology?

Just describe it and give me a structural diagram to look at.

But what about the subsequent casing加工? No one teaches you anything.

The boss's son gives emotional, unclear instructions. When I tried to ask a question, he yelled, "Can't you see I'm busy?"

I was still learning the inventory management software,

yet they just threw orders at me and told me to follow up on the process.

Will anyone train me? The senior employees are already too busy to finish their own work.

The office phone never stops ringing.

Or everyone is so busy that no one is at their desk.

If there is a question about an order, it can only get stuck.

You have to wait until someone is free, then quickly grab someone to ask.

Yet they still expect me to confidently place orders. If an entire batch turns out wrong, wouldn't I be the one blamed, despite being a small but capable employee?

Following up on progress can continue until "every day" at midnight, and they are still pressuring me.

And you tell me this is a responsibility-based system.

I can voluntarily help you work overtime occasionally, no problem.

But if the official quitting time is 17:00, and employees are working overtime until 20:00–21:00 on average "every day," how can this be considered normal?

(Every day, someone is specifically assigned to announce that everyone gets off work at 17:00.)

So here is my advice:

1. If business is really that good, what you need to increase is the number of salespeople, sales assistants, and factory staff,

rather than having everyone in sales, sales support, and factory operations do everything together, leaving everyone overwhelmed and unable to leave on time. Only with efficiency will subordinates have time to train new employees. Or are you clinging to control of the family business because you are afraid the resources will be taken away?

2. If you really want to save money, change the office hours and adjust each department's schedule according to its functions.

During off-peak periods, hire hourly workers to handle miscellaneous tasks.

3. Please hire more warehouse staff. Warehouse management is far too important.

4. Also~~~~~~~~~~~~~when ordering boxed lunches, don't complain. If you think a meal is unappetizing, just throw away the flyer and don't keep it. And don't tell me, "Although you don't like it, some people do, so don't throw it away." I want to tell you: If you don't eat it, so be it. People who really want to eat it will find a way to get it themselves 😑 Life finds its own way out.

Family members,

don't waste half an hour of my time every day over something so trivial.

5. Could you please stop doing things that take advantage of employees, like making lunch break start at 12:05 and end at 12:55?

Working tirelessly for the family business is your family's choice. However, I believe you also have ~more authority and receive more compensation than other people.

Or perhaps working at your own family home makes you insensitive to it, but a ten-minute break is very important to us working drones 👉👉👉👉👉 Come argue with me if you disagree.

Work and life should not be turned upside down or go against their original purpose.

But if you choose to live for work and become a workaholic, that is your choice, isn't it?

6. Please have the boss respect employees. I am not hearing-impaired—don't use sign language! Princes and princesses of the family business, please don't be so aggressive.

7. Employees and employers have a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship. A sense of responsibility is necessary, but it cannot be taken to extremes.

If you want to take it to extremes, then there must be a "price," just as there is for you: You earn more money than other people, yet you don't have to clock in; you can leave to pick up your children whenever you want, while everyone else has to work unpaid overtime. You even ask about work in the middle of the night—do you expect people to get any sleep?! We start work at 8 a.m. and spend nearly 12 hours at the company every day, working overtime! We are clearly only paid for 8:00–17:00, yet there is an attendance bonus policy, you love bothering people in the middle of the night, and then you say the boss doesn't like people being late!
