The company sells official gold and silver coins of the Chinese Communist Party. Employees are required to add the boss on WeChat, which results in a bunch of WeChat groups with coworkers and the boss. Matters have to be discussed in separate groups, making you wonder how intelligent the boss really is. He posts Chinese state-propaganda news in the WeChat groups and then asks whether you have read it. Other than finding fault with employees all day, no one knows what the boss does. When his own credit card was frozen and he could not pay the company's monthly online expenses, he asked employees to pay by card for him. If you told him it was inconvenient, he would sarcastically say that none of you wanted to help the company. Last year, he even asked employees to apply for financial relief and then lend him the money. This year, he directly told every employee to go home and borrow money from their families to lend to him. Are all Chinese people like this? The company also has a bunch of strange rules: you are not allowed to defecate at the office; they say you should have finished at home before coming to work. If it is really urgent, you have to use the public restroom in the shopping street next to the office. You have to sit properly while working, and if he does not like your posture, he will scold you for being inefficient. When speaking to the boss, you must always call him by name first. If the person on duty does not empty the trash completely, he will make you stare at the trash can and apologize. He sends messages to WeChat groups on holidays and then scolds employees at work on Monday for not reading them. Tardiness is calculated by the second. Near the end of the workday, he will drag you into a meeting and waste your time. It really opened my eyes. The boss is truly an exceptionally bizarre person.
