Some employees are fairly easy to get along with
Very few people have stayed at the company for a long time, and the turnover itself is not particularly high.
At first, I applied for an interview because I was moving north for work. During the interview, the owner did indeed talk about many plans.
I applied for a production control position. The interviewer, who was the owner himself, said that production control was currently being temporarily handled by his assistant. I thought, “Okay.”
So I was hired and came to work without giving it much thought.
Only recently did I learn that the person temporarily handling the production control position had absolutely no production control experience. But that was not a problem in itself.
I approached it with the attitude that changing jobs meant learning as a newcomer, and learned alongside her.
After a week, I felt that I was learning things in a completely disorganized way every day.
The inexperienced production control staff member was also extremely disorganized while working.
There was absolutely no SOP, yet she seemed to turn around and blame me for not learning things properly.
Every day, I was just left completely baffled????
I generally do not criticize whether a company is good or bad.
But the longer I stayed at this company, the stranger it felt.
I have six years of experience in production control. I would not dare say how capable I am,
but at least at my previous company, the owner, supervisors, and customers all recognized my abilities.
After joining this company, however, I even began to wonder whether there was something wrong with my abilities??
I offered suggestions about the production control procedures, but the owner actually said that my ideas were problematic.
After asking people internally, I learned that the original female production control employee had, for reasons I do not know,
been transferred to a completely unrelated area to work.
But regarding the female production control employee who was transferred,
I privately asked several people internally who had worked with her,
and everyone had a very good opinion of her. At the very least, they all said that the internal procedures had run very smoothly during her tenure.
They replaced her with someone who had absolutely no experience and had come from Malaysia to work here.
After she temporarily took over the position, every department became a complete mess.
During this process, I was also given dirty looks by the Malaysian woman temporarily handling production control.
The whole situation felt utterly ridiculous.
So I chose to resign.
After looking at this company’s reviews, I finally realized that I was not the one with the problem.
