Everyone was punctual and joined on time
The HR representatives and interviewers had very poor communication skills.
They were the ones who proactively invited me to apply for this position, but during the subsequent interview, their explanation of the actual job responsibilities was vague and unclear. They said that the content on 104 was only a general outline and that the details had not yet been finalized internally. During the online interview, at least four people joined one after another without turning on their cameras. It felt a lot like being in a Clubhouse room. At the beginning, they had not mentioned that so many people would be participating, which made me wonder whether they were so idle while working from home that they had logged on just to chat... = = One of the interviewers did have their camera on, but they were fixing their face and hair and tidying their appearance in front of the camera... They looked like they had just woken up. 囧 The people with their cameras off did not introduce themselves, so I did not even know whom I was speaking to at the time. Many of the questions they asked were negative, such as how I would handle making a mistake or whether I had ever encountered someone difficult. Perhaps there really are many problems internally and they need someone with strong stress tolerance, but with questions designed this way, applicants can simply fabricate stories to tell them. If the stories sound inspiring, does that mean they pass? Why not think about how to solve the internal problems instead of finding someone to come in and bear those problems with them? This kind of image is quite a turnoff... Even someone with excellent stress tolerance would not want to face these situations later on. I feel that designing interview questions and managing their tone and emotions in conversation are areas they urgently need to improve.
Overall, I felt that their goal was to fill a vacancy, rather than to be a company that attracts talent to join. Judging from the atmosphere of the interaction, my impression was that the internal turnover is very high. Although I did later receive an offer, I am sorry, but this is not the team I want to join.
