Applying for a sales channel position at X was treated as being a “disposable salesperson.” They ask you to sign a *three-month fixed-term contract* (in plain terms, a probationary contract*). Then, one day before the contract ends, they notify you by phone that, because your performance did not meet the company’s standards, you have to leave. In reality, the contract states: if you fail to meet the performance standards, you voluntarily resign automatically, so you will not receive severance pay.
There is no training for new employees, and performance is calculated starting from the contract signing date.
The department is run like the manager’s family business by privileged elites: they do whatever they feel like and, even worse, take no responsibility.
They are very good at making grand promises during interviews. I strongly recommend against going to this company to work in sales.
