Pros

There are no advantages; everything is a disadvantage.

Cons

The company is located in a residential area, and the office workstations are extremely basic. You even have to ask them to replace your chair before they will do so; otherwise, you have to sit on a metal chair. There are relatives of the boss, as well as the daughter of one of the boss’s benefactors, working at the company. They can slack off without consequences, but if you do, you may be called in for questioning. The restroom has no windows or screens. You have to carry the water up to the water dispenser yourself. The accounting staff member, 小X, always has a very sour expression and an extremely poor attitude. She is unclear about the Labor Standards Act and employee leave matters, and knows nothing when asked. Even when you correct her, she will argue back. If you call the Labor Department to confirm something, you may still be told not to be so impulsive and not to ask questions. The supposed flexible hours of 9:00–9:30 a.m. for starting work and 6:00–6:30 p.m. for leaving are fake. If the company opens at 10:00 a.m. that day, you have to work until 7:00 p.m., because the boss goes by the time clock. In other words, if no one opens the company that day, you will be considered absent without leave :)))

Once the boss is done using you, they will want to ask you to leave—and may not even want to pay severance.

Also, you are not allowed to chat at work, or you will be asked: “Have you finished your work? Is there nothing else to do? What next?”

Every day, you will also be asked a bunch of questions like, “Do you know why?” Then, if you say a couple of extra words about something unrelated to work, you will be asked again, “What are you doing?”

Even when the boss’s business is doing poorly, you have to be careful not to get caught in the crossfire, so please think carefully before joining.

I hope everyone avoids this pitfall. Best of luck with your job search.
