1. This company underreports employees’ insured wages for Labor Insurance.
2. Recently, with the major outbreak of COVID-19, the company implemented no measures at mealtimes and installed no partitions. Tables were not kept 1.5 meters apart. It was only after employees raised the issue that the Administration Department began taking action. Their crisis awareness is extremely weak. If they lack even basic awareness about epidemic prevention, what major things can this company accomplish?
3. Senior management’s decision-making is highly problematic, and the workload is unevenly distributed: some people are extremely busy, while others are idle enough to doze off and still collect their salaries comfortably. In principle, most supervisors lack guts. Some department members do not help one another at all—it is basically a “watching your comrades go to their deaths” mentality.
For example: The Purchasing Department has two buyers, and you can neither criticize nor pressure either of them!
The moment you pressure one of them, they run to senior management for sympathy. One of the buyers uses a personal mobile phone every day to talk on the phone out on the balcony, with each call lasting at least an hour. The total time spent on calls often exceeds three or four hours, and they claim the calls are with vendors—but who knows whether that is true? Don’t vendors have other clients to attend to? Whenever you go to that floor, your impression of this buyer is simply that they are on the phone. Even when senior management sees it, no one does anything. Then, when the calls take too long and they cannot finish their own work, they push it outward and tell other departments to handle it themselves. It is extremely absurd.
When one buyer takes leave, the buyer responsible for market component procurement absolutely will not help the buyer responsible for processed-component procurement handle their work. Instead, they push their own department colleague’s tasks onto other departments and demand assistance. Their supervisor allows this to continue, completely ignoring how outrageous the buyer’s behavior is.
4. When new employees join, all the work that others do not want to do is pushed onto them. Experienced employees just watch helplessly as newcomers struggle. Some veterans have been with the company for more than 10 years and still do not understand many things; they doze off at work and are not fired. Meanwhile, newcomers are worked to death, and even those who work hard and diligently may still be laid off. All I can say is that when you join this company, being worked to death is the expectation from day one.
5. Most importantly… when laying someone off, they even ask the person concerned to go onstage and give a “layoff speech.” They refuse to leave laid-off employees alone and make them stand in front of everyone to deliver remarks. This company gives employees no dignity. This alone shows how absurd and ridiculous the company is.
