A startup company, so responsibilities are unclear, there are few rules to follow, and mistakes are not heavily penalized

Because it is a startup, even issues such as the number of leave hours are unclear, and solutions are only considered after employees raise the issues themselves; each department operates independently, and the administrative department is extremely rude yet insists that the store comply with its demands.

The store's positioning is unclear, and with disorganized regulations, even instructions from upper management are chaotic. As a result, there are many tasks, but they are not clearly defined, and there is always something left unfinished. Responsibilities are unclear: when something goes wrong, whoever handled it bears the blame, even if they have only been working at the store for a month.

There were problems with managers' training. At the time, a manager at one store, for the sake of improving their own performance, lied to subordinates by saying that there were conditions for applying for overtime pay, sowed discord, defamed others based on preconceived stereotypes, distorted what others had said, engaged in personal attacks, formed cliques, falsely accused employees of clocking in extra work hours without verifying the facts, went back on their word, and so on. They also had poor emotional management, crying and seeking sympathy in front of employees at the slightest provocation. They often emphasized how great it was that restaurant and store staff could earn NT$32,000, how kind the company was, and told everyone to be content, keep quiet, and work harder.
