1. The food and beverage manager who conducted the interview repeatedly used their phone to respond to messages throughout the interview. Even if it was work-related, it came across as disrespectful.
2. The position interviewed for was a food and beverage marketing role at the head office, but it required rotating day shifts and did not offer a standard two-day weekend.
3. Two hours after the interview, I was notified by phone that I had been accepted. I was told to provide my university transcript covering all years of study, and that the process would take one to one and a half weeks. However, they did not set a start date or provide a list of documents to prepare for onboarding. If they were still interviewing other candidates, they could have waited to ask the interviewee to provide the documents…
