Can gain exposure to digital advertising???

A lot of people are asking about the workplace atmosphere. Personally, I would describe it in four words: Taiwanese traditional industry.

Training:

There was some when I joined, but it was basically a matter of having experienced veterans show you the ropes. The company’s own training was more of an introduction.

If the veterans were unavailable and projects were not handed over, you were essentially left without anything to do. It seems more suitable for experienced people, especially AMs.

Management style:

There were lots of typically Taiwanese slogans and management without any proper systems, which led employees to compete for sales and engage in vicious infighting.

Well... in short, it was very much like a traditional Taiwanese company, not foreign-owned at all, even though the company has branches overseas.

The managers and boss did not oversee many things, and turnover among the staff was very high.

Salary: A basic salary, supplemented by bonuses, but the bonus percentage was very low. You had to handle many projects for your salary to increase.

At that point, time management and luck became very important. If the team you were in did not have major projects, it was difficult to make much money.

Industry environment: Saturated. It was difficult to develop new clients, so basically the focus was on working hard to maintain existing projects.

Workplace atmosphere: It depended heavily on luck. The styles varied greatly from team to team. Overall, it seemed quite oppressive to me. I would not describe it as an environment with good communication. Because of the competition for business, you could easily encounter managers or colleagues with unpleasant attitudes.

The indescribable hardship of working there: During my time there, I encountered some very unpleasant colleagues. Since I had little experience at the time, I went through quite a lot of hardship after joining. When I asked questions, I sometimes felt that the veterans would seize the opportunity to make things difficult for me. Relations between people were awkward, and during meetings hardly anyone spoke. It was extremely strange. Looking back, it really was a job that wasted a lot of time. Not only was the salary nothing special, it also seriously damaged my expectations of working in the digital industry. The manager only cared about making money but did not actually manage anything. Perhaps most Taiwanese companies are like this.

Conclusion: I do not recommend it. But if you want to try it, you can still give it a shot.
