Being a foreign company, the benefits sound quite good

The interviews with the manager and senior colleagues were quite relaxed. We just discussed my work experience and whether I could accept relatively rigid work (I was interviewing for an administrative assistant position at the time, and it seemed like I would have to keep entering data and filing documents).

However, HR was clearly probing into my background the whole time, asking whether I had interviewed with other companies, what those companies were called, what benefits they offered, what my current salary was, and what my future plans were. It felt somewhat pushy.

I was ultimately offered the position, but they required me to provide a salary statement before sending me the offer. They would not even disclose the salary, yet wanted me to provide a bunch of documents, which made me wonder whether they did not trust the figure I had given them. It left me with a bad impression.
