Had a phone interview first, which saved quite a bit of hassle. This company is Lenovo’s ODM. It was forced to dissolve years ago because of its mainland Chinese investment, then registered as Taiwan Bailongda two years ago and started over. You have to consider whether it might dissolve halfway through again.
There are only 12 months of salary plus quarterly bonuses per year, totaling approximately 14 months for the whole year. Therefore, the expected annual salary is divided by 14 months. However, this makes the monthly salary very easy to exceed the budget. The hiring department may hope that you join at a slightly lower monthly salary first, then decide after a six-month evaluation whether to make up the difference. If you believe this explanation, go ahead—I don’t believe it!
