Cons

The workload is unevenly distributed across positions; one person is expected to do the work of several people. Overtime is prohibited because the company wants to save on electricity costs, yet it installs an extremely expensive sign to make the company look larger than it is, without realizing that the employees have to bear the cost. They insist that employees should shoulder these expenses.

Sales has the lowest status in the company. Even when asking the warehouse team for help, sales staff have to watch their reactions, because management has instilled in them the idea that their physical labor is highly significant, so the warehouse team thinks they are very impressive.

One senior male manager has a light bulb on his head and spends all day promoting cult-like ideas in the company group chat, brainwashing employees into believing that the company they work for is a “happy enterprise.”

You even have to pay to use a sales assistant. You can use the sales assistant for eight hours a week; if you exceed that, you have to pay $50 per hour. Is this a coin-operated assistant?

Sales staff do not receive year-end bonuses. The boss thinks that sales staff already receive a lot of commissions every month, so they do not need a year-end bonus. However, during the interview, they said there would be high commissions, high pay, and a year-end bonus—just to trick people into joining. Then, at a meeting, they said: “If we didn’t say that, how would you have come here?!!!”

The boss and the boss’s wife are quick-tempered and often treat the company like a breakup showdown arena.

Annual leave does not comply with the requirements of the Labor Standards Act, and unused leave is not converted into cash.

They often hire people who apparently left their brains at home, then mentally bombard the sales staff.
