大樹連鎖藥局_大樹醫藥股份有限公司
Pros

1. Young colleagues who are easy to get along with, so you quickly become friends.

2. There are quite a lot of food options near the company, with plenty of choices for lunch.

3. Complies with the Labor Standards Act.

Cons

1. A manager in one department occasionally gets handsy. Even after being warned, he stubbornly denies it and argues back, and continues doing it afterward. Reports to the company’s HR department have also received absolutely no follow-up action. I don’t know whether they are covering for one of their own.

2. Although the company’s senior managers have fairly novel ideas, they later contradict their own ideas after implementation begins. Progress becomes completely impossible to carry out, yet they keep imposing deadlines without discussing things together.

3. The department manager only cares about his own performance and completely ignores the process. He only shows concern when a senior manager asks about it. If the progress or execution is not to his liking, he launches into a scolding, completely disregarding what was discussed in previous meetings.

4. The manager often makes excuses to avoid attending meetings. After you report the meeting contents to him, he then says that this is not the result he wanted, refuses to deal with it, and simply leaves you to clean up the mess.

5. Besides the department manager getting handsy, the senior manager also tells off-color jokes during meetings, despite roughly 80% of the employees present being women. About half of the meeting is spent joking around, and there is hardly any conclusion in the end. It is a complete waste of time.

6. During the interview, they only said some lofty, empty words. After I started working, they merely said they hoped everyone would become familiar with one another’s work, completely ignoring employees’ wishes. The next day, they directly told me they were changing my job responsibilities.

7. It is supposedly a publicly listed company with decent stock performance, yet the headquarters is still built out of corrugated metal sheets. When someone walks down the passageway while you are working, it feels like an earthquake. Are they trying to scare people to death?

8. The company employs a cleaning lady, and she does work very diligently every day. However, employees are still required to take turns taking out the company’s trash, restocking toilet paper, and cleaning up around the printer and shredder. I really don’t know what the point of hiring her is.

9. Under the arrangements of the manager in the Operations Department, there are meetings almost every day, leaving no time to properly get work done. They say it is to understand the progress of execution, but later I realized that the manager simply has nothing to do and uses meetings to fill up his work log.

10. The company keeps saying that, for certain projects, money is no object as long as the work is done well. But when it is time to submit a proposal, they say it is too expensive and cannot be approved, without telling us what the budget actually is. They just say it has to be done well and be as cheap as possible—why don’t they go eat shit? During presentations, they also half-listen, occasionally scrolling on their phones or chatting with colleagues beside them, and only after the report do they say, “Could you say that again???”
