1. The colleagues are all quite young and generally easy to get along with.
2. There are lots of good places to eat near the company, so there are plenty of lunch options.
3. The atmosphere is fairly relaxed, and people generally aren’t micromanaged.
1. The company’s floors and walls have very poor soundproofing. There is noise from people walking around all the time, and the loud thudding footsteps make it impossible to concentrate on work.
2. All of the company’s management personnel are pharmacists, so there is a lack of leadership from people with professional experience. Internal management is extremely disorganized and lacks structure.
3. The turnover rate is extremely high—approximately one person leaves every two weeks. The company specifically takes advantage of inexperienced newcomers. Supervisors make empty promises, saying that employees will be promoted to department heads after staying for a certain period, but even department heads’ salaries are so low that they are laughable.
4. The labor is extremely cheap, especially in the X Marketing Department, where very few employees earn more than 30K.
5. A certain department supervisor is extremely irresponsible, assigning all of their own work to subordinates and making it seem as though they are busy all day, when in fact they are flirting and fooling around with subordinates.
6. Department supervisors also engage in verbal and physical sexual harassment of female employees. Human Resources has been informed, but there does not seem to have been any proactive handling or improvement. It is unclear whether this is because they are pharmacists and the company is unwilling to discipline them.
7. The proposal-report process is extremely cumbersome. If a department director or supervisor rejects it, all the effort is wasted. Everything is evaluated based on the budget, but the actual budget is never explained, often causing people to do work for nothing.
8. The company wants to expand to 250 stores in Taiwan, but provides employees with no corresponding support or care. Every month, money is deducted from employees’ pay as a welfare fund and to pay for meals with colleagues! Why are we forced to spend our days off with supervisors?
9. Everyone also has to take turns serving as the person on duty to take out the trash and restock toilet paper! Was the cleaning lady hired just for decoration?
10. There are many people at headquarters, but only two restrooms, so there is always a long line.
11. If you bring your own lunch, you can only microwave it at 12:00, so you have to queue and wait! By the time the food is microwaved, it is already time to get back to work!
