I applied for a business assistant position at a research institute,
because I wanted to find a simple, stable job that did not require overtime, so I could study after work.
Two recruiters called me one after another and asked me a bunch of personal questions,
because if the company hired me directly instead of through a staffing agency, the government would provide the company with a subsidy,
so I later wrote an unsolicited application email to the HR manager of the company for the position I had applied for,
telling her that they could receive a subsidy if they hired me directly.
I did receive a call from the staffing agency;
they said they would send my résumé to you,
The HR manager replied that she had asked her subordinates to confirm it,
and the staffing agency had not sent them my résumé.
It was simply a waste of time taking calls and being asked a bunch of personal questions,
because those two recruiters wanted to know things themselves after reading my résumé (perhaps they wanted to do it themselves too).
If they wanted to know, couldn't they look it up online themselves?
“Are you taking an exam for a foreign or a domestic graduate school?”
“What subjects do you need to prepare for the exam?”
“What are you going to do after graduating from graduate school?”
What does this have to do with my applying for this job?
If they want to know, couldn't they look it up online themselves?
I really feel like swearing at them.
If I saw them in person, I would really want to beat them up.
Just because I'm a young woman, does that mean I'm easy to bully and they can ask me a bunch of questions?
Have they never seen a thug before?
