Easy to boss around; can work without using your brain.
The most interesting thing about the boss of this company is that she has the same person handle both product planning and sales. So when the boss asks about problems with the product, she deflects like a switchboard operator transferring the issue to the engineer, or practices tai chi to avoid taking responsibility for what she should be accountable for. When the boss asks why sales are poor, she says the product is not ready yet, so it cannot be sold (Wait, aren’t you also responsible for the product?).
But the boss seems not even to have grasped this logic, not realizing that someone is acting as both player and referee. She looks busy, but in reality is costing the company several million dollars every month, failing to produce a product—and when one is finally completed, it is both expensive and impossible to sell.
I think it would be more practical for the company to shut down sooner rather than later.
