Interviewed for a packaging position.
They were direct and candid about the fact that overtime is routine and the job requires standing for long periods.
There is very little information about the job duties on the job-search website. There is also very little job-related information available through searches on the website.
They said they did not know the base salary, directly referred the question to HR, and then asked what salary I could accept.
The job duties were described as if they had not been described at all. They just kept asking whether I could accept standing for long periods. It seemed that as long as you said you accepted it, you would have to do it without complaint, including not being able to take leave from overtime for legitimate reasons.
Immediately after the first interview ended, they scheduled another interview. They did not inform me by phone or at the time, and the two interviews were only one hour apart. What if the interviewee lives relatively far away?
