Interview process
The company environment was somewhat old and run-down
You could tell the power hierarchy from the desks
Some people had Mac partitions, while others were seated in a large open-plan arrangement
The interview did not even take place in a meeting room; they had me write the test at someone else’s workstation
One manager was a bit arrogant and kept speaking English with a strong Taiwanese accent
They called the student worker “student worker” instead of using their name. It was really inappropriate and disrespectful
The laptop was very old and difficult to use
Interview advice
Uh, personally, I wouldn’t really want to go It feels like the company culture isn’t for me During the interview, they also said, “If you do well, you can become a regular employee.” The question is, do I even want to come? From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt wrong Let alone becoming a regular employee
