I applied for position A, and the interview invitation I received was also for position A. However, after I arrived at the site, the manager got straight to the point and said that because of organizational restructuring... something like that (I forgot exactly how he put it at the time), the position had been changed to position B, even though the manager interviewing me was the manager for position A.

He also said directly... what he meant was that after I joined, he would not be my manager. = ="
