The job responsibilities were highly aligned with my experience

The conversation with the Vice President during the interview was quite pleasant

After the interview, they told me to email them if, after giving it some thought, I felt it was okay

After the interview, I waited for notification. Three days later, I emailed to ask about the result, but received no reply

I called to ask, and was told that they were still considering my qualifications and would get back to me in a couple of days

When I called again later, it became, “After consideration, our company has decided not to open this position?!”
