The colleagues are nice.
If this story resembles anything, it is purely coincidental.
Reminder: During the interview, a certain department head may say that online information is for reference only (but after you join, the level of darkness is absolutely horrifying. Those who are brave are welcome to take on the challenge).
You should be mentally prepared for the attitude of a certain supervisor at this company on a daily basis.
The internal departments basically do not have a sound, guaranteed system for issuing year-end bonuses.
Bonuses are entirely distributed according to the supervisor’s subjective and unprofessional judgment; even if you are furious, nothing will change.
Most colleagues are very nice, considerate, and willing to help one another. The nurses also conscientiously take everyone’s temperature, and the HR staff are nice too.
I originally wanted to let the matter fade, but I’m worried that newcomers or honest, trusting people might be deceived, so if you are recently considering applying to Department X, think twice.
No matter how capable an employee is, the head of Department X will arrange a special meeting with them on their birthday if they do not cater to him. When assigning tasks, he is only vague and ambiguous, then makes employees do unpaid work afterward. Employee suggestions and feedback receive no follow-up, yet whenever problems arise, employees are expected to take the blame for him.
He has long made employees clean up after those with very poor abilities.
Good employees have even been pressured by the supervisor to resign.
The supervisor thinks employees should leave after staying for two years!!!!
Moreover, the supervisor really~~~likes employees with very poor abilities.
Does this count as a happy company?
Or is it the supervisor’s personal “happy” company (mysterious laugh)?
For employees who have been here for more than a year but still cannot independently and smoothly complete even basic tasks, he considers their attitude to be “very good” and thinks having ability equivalent to just 60 points is sufficient (?).
Performance evaluations are also inflated almost every month, indicating that there is plenty of room for improvement (a miracle of his employee education, one might say) (?).
I guess the supervisor has very unusual preferences. He shows particular favoritism toward that colleague with very poor abilities and even thinks that all the other colleagues are ostracizing her. He only wants all the colleagues to clean up after her and allocate performance credit to her. The supervisor even threatens the other colleagues, insisting that they must finish cleaning up her messes; otherwise, he will not promote her or will also refuse to give the other employees raises.
He even specifically instructed that employee with poor abilities to tell him immediately if anyone bullied her.
The supervisor will not take responsibility.
Mismanagement means shifting the blame.
Favoritism toward the least capable.
Building cardboard boxes and retreating into isolation.
Exploitation year after year, with great enthusiasm.
Year-end bonuses and raises are utterly powerless.
Redundant staff run the department into closure.
Employees ultimately leave one by one
